Ron Garcia Coaching

Sport specific

Mobility and stability that show up in the swing, not just in the gym.

Off-course physical preparation for golfers over thirty-five who want distance and consistency without the customary back complaint.

The problem

Why this keeps recurring.

Lessons address technique, but a swing fault that stems from restricted thoracic rotation or unstable hips cannot be coached away.

Compensations then travel to the lower back, which is why so many players over thirty-five accept discomfort as part of the game.

Distance falls, the back nine becomes inconsistent, and general gym work does not appear to help.

The approach

How this work differs.

Assessment isolates where rotation is genuinely available and where it is being borrowed from the spine.

The Stabilise and Elevate stages then build sequencing, rotational power and the endurance to hold posture through eighteen holes, in coordination with your swing coach where useful.

Outcomes

What you get back.

  • 01

Greater usable rotation through the mid-back and hips

  • 02

Clubhead speed built on sequencing rather than effort

  • 03

Consistent posture and contact late in the round

  • 04

Markedly less post-round lower back discomfort

The process

How the golf performance coaching programme runs.

  1. 01

    Assess

Rotational screen, hip and thoracic range, and swing-related history.

  2. 02

    Stabilise

Restore rotation and control at the segments that should be providing it.

  3. 03

    Elevate

Rotational power, anti-rotation strength and round-length endurance.

  4. 04

    Direct

In-season maintenance and pre-round preparation routine.

Client outcomes

In their words.

  • Fourteen yards more off the tee at fifty-two, and no back pain on the drive home.
